Purpose of the website
I created this website with the express purpose of showcasing my programming skills. You will find out more about me in the "About Me" section (link, above)
From time to time I'll be posting examples of my work on this website, too (usually under the "Portfolio" section above) You'll want to keep an eye open for when that happens.
This entire project is my first foray into HTML and CSS (with a little flash thrown in for good measure), as such it may seem a little bland at first. But please bear with me.
Most of this website has been hand crafted using either the GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program) or notepad++. As such, updates might be a little Spartan from time to time. |
If you feel the need to contact me, then please see the "Contact Me" section (link, above). I greatly appreciate people taking the time to contact me with suggestions or even just greetings.
Please remember that this website is still under construction. As such, some pages will have Latin place holder text, but will be replaced when content has been generated.
I've designed the whole website to resemble a text book. In so far as, it has right hand margins - very much like the left hand page in a text book - so that were it a page in a book, you could make notes.
I decided on the "left hand page" design, because I've always found that the most important information in a text book always seems to lie on the left hand page. Sure the summary and introductions always lie on the right hand page, as the the first page in a chapter, but for some reason all of the most important information can be gleaned from the left hand page (in my opinion)
Other than acting as an online portfolio for my program code, I have also included a section for the band that I have created with my younger brother and our mutual friend. You can learn more about the band in the section called "The Band" (link, above). We've not done much yet. Although I have uploaded a few demos of our work.
Along with all of that, I've also a a blog; which I'll be updating daily. This can be found in the "News & Events" section (link above) | |
